2023 Subscriptions Gummers Posted March 12, 2020 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted March 12, 2020 Risk of hospitalisation is that if 1000 people cycle to work every day for 10 years we’d expect to see an additional 26 hospitalisations (23 <1 week) so although there is an increased risk this of injury is small overall. these data are great argument for increasing cycling safety and traffic calming measures.
