Anyone have a 10 speed campag right hand side shift/brake lever kicking around that needs a new home?  The indexing on mine is starting to go, so could do with a new one.

Cheers,

R

Ramsay, give these guys are bell/email ...... sounds like it’s probably a worn part inside the mechanism & should be replaceable/repairable!

Or this company, I think Martin had experience with them:

P.S - Is it Chorus or Record?

Chung & Martin,

Thanks guys.

Levers are Chorus.

I have pulled a few old sets of levers apart in the past and found what the problem was (worn plastic “teeth”) and just bought new levers.  Will mail them and give one of them a go.

Cheers,

Ramsay, worst case scenario, you can get a "whole" shifter body for £70 & swop the brake-blade over .........

https://thecycleclinic.co.uk/collections/shifter-spares/products/campagnolo-10-speed-ergo-quick-shift-shifter-body-record-ec-ch100-or-ec-ch101

You can still get individual new parts (NOS) for most 10speed Campag shifters & component if you look hard enough, but the newer 11 speed is not like that anymore, they usually just comes in "module parts". :-(

Thanks Boyd.

Just called Willy Bain & asked him about your issue.

Said he can do it, no problem - £25 for labour plus cost for any parts required. He's busy at the moment, so will take a week or so to turn-around if you fancy this .......... sounds like a better option since you don't need to send it back & forward :-)

Chung,

You are a gent.  Thank you.

I'll whip the lever off and take it with me when I'm in Glasgow on Thursday.

Cheers,

ROhyadancer!
