Last day off for me, proposing a run along the clyde to Helensburgh and then up the fruin.

Re-group at the top ( waiting for me), into Balloch via arden roundabout and duck bay. Cafe in Balloch, home the usual route.

Options to extend down some coast, once back on the south side of the Erskine bridge for those festive mentalist.

930 clubrooms. 10 at the bridge.

Found that really, really hard today, hence drop off after Cardross and re-route via Sinclair Street, rejoining after the cafe stop, and hanging in on the blast back to the bridge.

Good day out.

Thanks for posting this Bunch run Greg,  nice ride today with a good paced group of 12 setting out, conditions were breezy and caught some drizzle.

Chapeau to JohnC for successfully making it up the Glen Fruin climb with that gear set up, stuck in the big ring! Also, ColinS completing his festive 500.

Thoroughly enjoyed that today.  Good pace, tidy bunch, wasn't so sure about the climb as already had 200 miles in the legs this week but made it.  Shame about the slow service at Corries.  Ended up going to Bridge Of Weir and taking cycle track to Lochwinnoch (halfway to Kilbirnie) and got 95 miles done (153km in real money) so completed Festive 500 (third attempt at it!). Happy days! :)
