Cycling Scotland - Cycle Friendly School

Hi Looking for some help.

We have very recently be recognised as a Cycle friendly school by Cycling Scotland. It was a lot of hard work, we have organised bike breakfasts, we got a group of 4th years through their City and Guilds, organised staff cycles and bought a fleet of bikes to be used by classes.

To further develop the programme I am now working 1 to 1 with some disengaged pupils where they bring in their bike and we do some small checks and how to change a tube etc. However some bikes are unrideable due to broken components etc. Was looking at the good people of JWCC  to have a rummage around the back of their sheds, garages and lofts to see if they have any spare componenets going.  Firstly looking at MTB/hybrid stuff and back derailleurs/chains seem to be the things that are going most!

Thanks

Ross
