  1. See how the legs are. What about up the bowfield to Lugton, Torranyard, then cafe stop Stewarton (Mill House?) then if anyone wants more miles can do wind farm or just back to base after cafe...?
  2. Great results guys... well done!
  3. Did it last year, good climb! Can't make it this year, maybe next year for me.
  4. Glad I made it out in the end... tough going at times but felt quite strong despite a slight knee issue. Good company, lovely cake, and it stayed dry. That'll do!
  5. Not sure I'm going to make it in the morning. If I'm not at the clubhouse don't wait.
  6. Bonus there's a Krispy Kreme there too 😂
  7. Not going to make it. Enjoy, and hopefully be back out next week
  8. My sister in law bought this shortly after my wife got her bike, but they haven't done very many miles and I need to make room in the shed. She's just got a Peloton spin bike so this one has to go. This has done about 30 miles. Its in VGC but is definitely one for gentle social rides with the family or for going messages etc. Was about £200 from Halfords in Paisley, so please make me a sensible offer - [email protected] or on here. 9. My wife bought this new from Dales two years ago for £450, and it's done about 18 miles. Setup is pretty basic but it's in VGC. Frame is 44cm. Get in touch [email protected] or on here with sensible offers pls. Photos below. IMG_3272.HEICIMG_3269.HEIC
  10. Very well put together and a perfect day for it. Whoever made the coffee & walnut cake is a legend because it was really really good!!
  11. Damn, not going to make it, in Greenock on Tuesday afternoon and doubt I'll be back in time. Enjoy!
  12. Great ride! Met chung en route to the bridge, met John and Iain there. We cycled to Garelochead where we split. Chung went up Glen Fruin to Balloch and home from there, and John went to Kilcreggan in the hope that the ferry was running... it was! Iain and myself carried on to Arrochar where it started raining literally as we started to climb the Rest (we had a very small tailwind up - every little helps!). However nothing really came of it and we had a wee coffee and some food at the top before heading down the main road towards Strachur. We stopped for a bite to eat at the old wee pub/hotel on Loch Eck (nr the caravan park) which was really nice. By this time the wind had died down and it was a straighforward run into Dunoon for the ferry back. Sore legs kicked in for me going along the A8 but we persevered and got home at the back of 3. Decent day out, cheers guys!!
  13. Just found the start sheet. Last rider 09:22. That's cool
  14. Hi G, how many riders are there and roughly what time do we expect the last rider out? Just so I can plan the rest of the day
  15. I'm good for Dunoon mate. Free pass extended
  16. Sounds good! See you at the bridge 08:30
  17. Hi, I have a free pass for Saturday (for a change!). Was thinking of doing Kilcreggan and getting ferry over Gourock, then up Clune and home from there. Looking at 8/8:30 from Clubrooms. Moderate - fast pace. Anyone wish to join me?
