Heading for a circuit of Arran this Sunday.
Planning for 9.45am ferry at Ardrossan but need to arrive for 9am to guarantee bike boarding as booking not available.
So, leaving clubrooms at 7.30am for those cycling down. Cycle track to Kilbirnie, Dalry, Saltcoats, ferry.
Arran circuit is 56miles and down and back is about 45miles. Train options available, but think there is a rail strike planned. What can possibly go wrong.!!

Dave C got a reaction from chung in Sunday 29th August...local villages and hills
Martin, you missed two more puncture to Gary's front wheel before Lochwinnoch. He had to walk to the station but I believe he has now found the culprit. A piece of flint or glass...these things happen in cycling. Good day nevertheless.

Dave C got a reaction from Frank in Sunday 15th August Dunlop Dairy
Great summary Chung. This was probably the shortest run we have done this year, but one of the lumpyist and it seemed longer. Mixture of road surfaces and different lanes always keeps it interesting. Thanks for the company as usual and 4 of us sneaked in a post ride recovery refreshment in Amarettos on the way home.
