Billy, the title of the thread was clubrun and I said ro Charlie when we were waiting for the video start in the carpark at Amaretto that we would come as far as Kilburnie. As it turned out we let the bunch go at Phil's folly after Torr Road. Thanks for the pull along guys and thanks to Charlie for organising the all inclusive photo shoot.

Meet at Amaretto at 9am for photo shoot with sponsor.
Can then head afterwards on similar route to main bunch to Kilbirnie and possibly Largs or loop back to Lochwinnoch.
Remember to wear New Jersey.
A fairly calm but overcast night with four riders taking part as jet Keir had a mechanical at start and could not take part.

Forecast not great for Sunday but if dry could head for Kilwinning or Eglington country park.

Followed the French Skoda team car through Linwood the other day. It turned off at the Asda roundabout, and may have been heading to the MacDonalds !!! Surely not.
Ken, Carol and myself headed up Bowfield hill to Lugton Dunlop and into the dairy. After teas coffee and scones headed back via Bloak Rd, Barmill, Hessilhead and down Bowfield.40miles in total.

Bowfield hill and options to head to Barmill and quiet country lanes around Torranyard to Stewarton with possible coffee stop at Dunlop Dairy.
Easy pace and suitable for all.

Four made it to the Tournament Cafe with Ken having left us at Gateside road. After scones and Empire biscuits headed back to Kilwinning and Blair Road and thanks to a diversion due to the roadworks, discoverd some new backroads with lovely new tarmac. Thanks to Boyd, Anthony and Carol for the company.

Thanks to Paul for the route and the rest of the guys for the company. A variety of road surfaces and rural and urban scenery which all contribute to a good day out. No issues apart from an irate woman in a posh car calling Paul a bloody pest for having the temasity of being a cyciist on the road holding her up for 10seconds. Sometimes i despair of humanity.

Thanks to the guys and girl for a good ride today. Sitting outside at the Dunlop Dairy was a first where glasses of cold milk straight from the cow were consumed. !! On the way back Dalek hill Was The warmest part of the day or so it seemed. If only every day was like this.
