carol cowan got a reaction from martin in Sunday 14th July 3 Ferries Route
Hi Martin yes it was the good samaritans 30 milers. Mia gave advice and David straightened his handlebars and put his chain back on. That was nice of that lady to thank us.

Brilliant run yesterday.
Time-trialled back to Gourock - no train, so carried on as fast as possible to Port Glasgow and just made the train from Wemyss Bay by a couple of minutes - so SWMBO is still talking to me - though I did have to wash the dishes last night.

Lovely run today to Dryman with David Morna and Linda. Even the guy that owns the cafe at Dryman was quite pleasant for a change.

carol cowan reacted to BoydJohnston in Sunday 14th Oct : Whitelees Windfarm Eaglesham
My child-minding duties are thankfully over now, for a while anyway. I'll be having some recovery time today and tomorrow and hopefully be ready to hang about the back of the group again on Sunday. See you at Miller St, provided the wind and rain have died down a bit by then.

Great to see so many this morning. Sure the pictures will be great even with Billy's crumpled coupon Just for info, Galeb and I gave it full beans up the coast and at one point in the exposed headwind we were doing 15.5mph.Â
Also great to see one of JWCC's finest for a few miles at Greenock, Katrina Hair (Hamilton). Looking lean and fit as always.
Another weekend, another Galeb 'pacey' 50 miler, another pure banger.

A nice run in gorgeous weather (again) to Killearn.  Found another cafe to add to the list - Town and Country.
75 miles for me which is longest this year!

Route same as we did to Drymen. Graham knows a short cut over a wee bridge.
Choice of two cafes in KillearnÂ
Return via Strathblane. About 55
miles ( Yes Carol, you can do it!)
Post if participating.

Splendid ride in sunshine and big chapeau to Innis who rode 80k with flat bars. He is considering n+1. Delightful coffee stop at mill where we were joined by the Dear Leader who exhorted us to greater things on the way home.

Spin on, Dave. I'm loaded with the cold (but getting better), so would not have been out anyway.
Training for Majorca starts this coming week, though, so keep spinning. I'll be out on the road this week for sure.
