  1. Hi Darryl Only just caught up with the terrible news. Speedy recovery. Nice to see in that true cycling fashion, Mark made sure the bike was ok! Hope to see you on the road when you're patched up.
  2. Kenny If I am correct an 11-speed compatible hub needs a space to use a 10-speed cassette.
  3. I would like to ride. Haven't been on my TT bike since September!!
  4. Aix en Provence 70.3 for me. 60km/hr winds forecast. I hope it is a tailwind!!!
  5. Bier definitely in the wrong position and only mentioned once!! Good luck Lads! Watch out for that confusing turn about 30km to go!!
  6. Strange as I have never had anything but great service from Wiggle. Just had an issue with a groupset that I bought more than 13 months ago from Wiggle for my bike build. Some parts missing/damaged that I had not noticed until I came to the build. I wrote to them more out of annoyance than expecting anything to be done. They asked for receipts for the parts I replaced and refunded within 24 hours. Do you have a Collect plus receipt? If so then that is your proof of postage.
  7. Great event, BUT don't listen to Charlie, who now has an injunction prohibiting him from booking accommodation!! Managed to go from a top hotel in Liege to something akin to the Calais jungle in London.

Drew Thanks for the headset top cap!! Tom
  9. Darryl Reynolds 853 tubing modern classic lugged steel frame. Seat tube, handlebars and wheels all carbon. 105 groupset. TRP mechanical-hydraulic disc brakes. Stiff, responsive and smooooooooth 😀😊😊😊
  10. And here it is - my new pride and joy!
  11. Iain I have a hacksaw picture frame cutting jig that I have used on several steerer tubes with no problem. You are welcome to use this. Also I have a carbon-specific expanding head-tube nut/bolt assembly that you can swap for the star nut, if you wish. Tom
  12. Great to be back in the Bunch ! Great run, beautiful day. Lovely just riding my bike and enjoying it!!
  13. Ian I have a medium, probably closer to you than the others. Size is perfect for me. Tom
  14. Richard I have elbow rests which look pretty similar to the photo. Yours if they suit. Tom
  15. Turbo was a good choice. Waves crashing over rocks onto the road after the 40 sign at Largs. When one hit and caught the bottom of my wheels, I decided it might be prudent to turn around and head home!!'
  16. Hi Colin Spray/soak in WD40. Then try to tighten first! This usually breaks the "seal" and you should be able to remove them. Make sure you have a good quality screwdriver bit of the correct size so that you don't ruin the screw head.
  17. Tacx's top end virtual reality turbo trainer. Five years old and used regularly in winter until last year. I bought Garmin Vector pedals and used a simple gel turbo for short sessions and will do the same this year. Trainer was £1000 new. I have all the trainer software that I have upgraded to, since new. If you wish to use the VI you will need to purchase a license and have a decent broadband connection. Steerer frame has some corrosion from sweat but this is easily fixed with some emery paper and Hammerite. £300

Wish I had Mark. Nowhere to hide when riding on your own, and the numbers don't lie!
  19. The garage clear-out continues. Three bike tow mount carrier. All working including lights/number plate board. Not much more to say really £120.
