  5. Hi thanks all for the advice. Just realised that I can access the Cyclescheme through work so I can buy something new tax free !! Dilema now is shiny new bike for circa £650 or 2nd hand for circa £400. Too much choice now. When I was a nipper (yawn!!!) it was a Raleigh 10 speed Take it or Leave it !! Tom

  7. Thanks for advice guys. Might take a look at the Btwin on Gumtree. No plans to race but would like to join in the "easier" Sunday morning runs so carbon framed wonder bike probably not required . Any other offers or suggestions most welcome. !! Tom

  12. Hi I'm looking to get into road cycling. Almost 50, average fitness. I wondered if there were any groups or runs suitable for me ? It would of course help if I had a bike. !!!
