Think I might postpone until another day in case more ferries get cancelled! Friday 24th August Due to a technical issue with MV Isle of Arran, the following sailings are cancelled: - Departing Ardrossan: 11:05, 13:50 Departing Brodick: 12:30, 15:15 All other sailings will operate as scheduled.

Still got Arran on my to-do list for this year, possibly on Friday if the weather is suitable. Any recommendations for lunch or a cake stop?

Did you go over the road/track past Dowries farm and Garshangan? Just wondered if it is still mostly rideable and still a lift and carry in places? I haven't been along that bit for a while and last time was on mtb.
