  5. Ridley Dean Time Trial/Triathlon Bike For Sale (Large) Reluctant sale of my Ridley Dean due to long term injury. Frame and forks were bought from Dooley’s Cycles in Paisley and built up in 2012, but knee problems have limited its use to 5 outings totalling less than 70miles! The bike comes with two rear wheels (Corima Disc and Planet X 101) to give options on a windy day. Photos of the bike and kit are at link here - http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/2811148979 Brief summary of equipment and condition: • The size large frame and forks are virtually as new. The only slight marks are some minor heel rub on both chain stays. Frame geometry is shown on the diagram with the photos. • The integrated seat post has had about 30mm taken off the top and the fork stearer has not been cut (lots of spacers). Included in the sale are the standard 27mm of various seat post spacers. • The frame has fully integrated cabling, with the outers extending from lever to mech/brakes. All cables (inner and outer) were new in 2012. • 10speed Campagnolo groupset made up of a mix of Record, Centaur and Veloce. Cranks are 175mm, with 39/53 rings and an 11-21 cassette. Brakes are new Tektro supplied by Ridley. The groupset was taken from my old Cervelo and has now done about 400-500miles, mainly on dual carriageways etc. • The Planet X wheels (82 Front and 101 Rear) are in very good condition and have good condition Continental Podium 19 tubular tyres. Also included is a brand new Continental Podium 19 tub and an new Shimano freehub. • The Corima disc was bought from a friend and is in good condition. The tyre on it is a Continental Tempo 22 tubular tyre that is in fair condition. The Corima comes with a wheel bag. Frame is registered with Ridley in Belgium and I have the frame “passportâ€. Detailed component list/spec available on request. Current build price is over £4,000, so looking for £1,800 ono. Collection or delivery to Glasgow/Renfrewshire/North Ayrshire area only. Bike is in Beith. Please contact me by private message to arrange a viewing. Thanks, Ramsay
  6. 2 adult tickets for the Muirhead's please. :-)
  7. Thanks Jane. I'll have a look when I get a chance. It would be a long term bike she needs, so a bit unfair "taking" it, so still need to buy one. Cheers, R
  8. Looking for a winter bike for Elaine, with pannier/mud guard lugs. Depending on frame geometry, a 50-52cm horizontal is about right. Anybody got anything? Thanks, R
  9. 1.45! That's a good time for a Tuesday night! :banana :banana

  12. Good to see you guys, even if only for a short while. Both of us are starting to slowly build up the miles, so hope to be around a bit more. Cheers, R
  13. Not going to be able to timekeep, as we now have tickets for the swimming. Enjoy.
  14. Gordon, Yep, TT still happening. Guests are welcome, although Kenny has offered to do separate watch. Meet at 18:45, with first rider off at 19:00. Might even turn out to timekeep. R
  15. Sorry Billy, we will be on holiday.
  16. yeah, well done all. I'm not really back on the bike properly, as still injured, but just felt like having a spin/play on the TT bike. I was truly "all the gear and no idea"! I can now say that I have raced in 2014! Hopefully TT bike will not have two year's worth of dust on it next time I use it. Good fun had, but neck now very sore from TT position. R :banana :banana

    It's a track disc.
  18. I'm thinking of driving to Cairnryan and going to Belfast as a foot passenger on Friday 9th May to see the Giro start and the prologue TTT, then staying overnight to see the start and finish of the first road stage, returning on the 10th. Anyone interested in joining me? R
  19. Kenny, I'm ok to help as promised. R
