Just a few lines to let you know that I am moving on from the club. I have been offered a place in the Evans Racing Team for the season ahead (and probably longer). I am kind of sad to be leaving the club but I am having to travel all over the place and am starting to need specialist equipment bikes, wheels and that as well as more racing (which my dad tells me is costing a fortune). Evans have made me a fantastic offer and are giving me a great opportunity to develop a bit further in the sport and It would be crazy to refuse this. Apart from the sponsorship deal there are really top quality riders right up to elite level in all disciplines in the team and I will get a chance to learn from them at team events. So when you've gotta go, you've gotta go ! Hope to see you at Bellahouston track when it opens. Bye for now Kayleigh

Hi all, I would like to do this But im not sure i would be allowed because im a Youth?? But im not sure because its a confined event?? Can anyone tell me if im allowed to do this event?? (the APR) Thanks Kayleigh

Hi There, This is my first year racing so i havn't got many results 2 share but here some of them. At meadowbank Scottish Track Championships, 5th August, i went along 2 compete in the youths 500m standing start TT (2laps).After completing this i was told that i had broken the "youthB girls" Scottish record with a time of 44.26 seconds which originaly stood at, 48.31 seconds. The Champs. continued on till the sunday(7th August) where i was racing in an "omnuim" with the boys in my age cat.One of my events was the 6 lap persuit.I completed and had a time of 2min.20sec. breaking another Scottish record that stood at 3min 11.51sec.Later that day i took part in another 500m Standing start, which i broke my prevous record from Friday.In the overall competion i took 2nd place with a silver medal. Earlier in the year, i was down in England with the squad competing in the British crit. champs.I was competing in the U.14 girls cat. and took 9th place. Kayleigh B
