  4. Few folk have spoken about this as an idea , seemingly its pretty calm traffic wise on a saturday evening, i would defo be supporting this if races where to be advertised as open events. Most TT's over the border are held late afternoon / evening has a plus with warmer/cool weather conditions too

  7. A series of left and right turns in the middle of nowhere and by the time you go home and pull out the map to find out exactly where you cycled you cant cause none of the Mcdonald roads exist on OS Maps
  8. A77 where they had the 10TT champs 2007! Very safe with hardly any traffic, bit of a travel to get to by bike from your work if you plan to ride it but a good warm up

    Kerry Lang

After our wee annual trip to Oban at the weekend Kerry Lang kept us all upto date during the run off her latest achievements on the tri front. She went to Mexico to compete in a World Elite Triathlon event a few weeks ago. She was up against some of best and finished 8th over all , if you look at the split times and over all finish times there was not much between 1st and 8th Saturday she travelled down to Newcastle to compete in the Marathon , here she was up against the Kenyans , nigerians simply some of the best running athlete about. she finished 20th place Fantastic so far and i hope she will be selected for Beijing GB Squad. Her next Triathlon is in Israel which is another World Elite level Event. All paid for by herself too and she is part time Dr - Commitment or what Stevie

  14. Sounds tremendous Lads - well done on the Emailing Darryl!! Count me in too - Cant miss out on the return of Scott D Can We Let me know if you require any sort of Payment up front Darryl - might be a good idea as you dont want to get stung if any other decide to pull out at last minute through unforseen circumstances...... 15. My Suggestion is a bit Far for a cold time of year right enough - Has anyone else got any other idea's???
  16. My suggestion would be as follows: Johnstone to Oban Via: GOurock ferry - Dunoon - Strachur - St Catherines - inverarry(Lunch Stop) , Dalmally, Connel is a classic run ive done several times and well worth it. Or To make ot even better on the way back from Oban you could go to Lochgilphead - Tarbet , Ferry to Portavadi cycle to Tighnabruich for lunch then home over the Tarzan Dam Climb Its roughly 100 miles out and just less coming back i think. Would depend on the weather! Could stay at the YH or Rita's Brother in law Jim might be able to help out with his B&B there if he is willing to open during the off season Not so sure if everyone is intending to ride 100 Miles Though Darryl?? Cheers, Stevie P.s. if you cant be @rsed carrying your kit on your back or on your rack you could do what Bob Sharp Swears by !!! POST IT well in advance
