  7. OlA FROM EL CAMPELLO -ah folks what actually went on was torture for me , i was behind big kenny allens wheel going up the 1st sister but he lost the wheel ad let a gap go !!! I then had to go round himand get fellow team mate ian sim back onleading bunch up the 2nd sister so i put in an effort which resulte in brain haemorrage but in the end ian got on and claimed a top spot for the sprint which left me riding home in 39x23 It gets tough after not missing out on spells as i recall many many riders sitting in and not coming through..
  8. Yes good to catch up with yourself as well as like some of the others. Big Plans i dont have but just some personal realistic targets i'd like to achieve such as a higher placing in the BAR along with some other events. Me Lean??? You need your eye's tested man Still got another 7 lbs to shed for i can do my skin suit any justice
  9. Chung The wee man was as cool as with his Kilt on
  10. Alan , It was actually 52 Riders - which made it severly dangerous down the lochside , a large mixed range of abilities had the bunch a Ripple effect causing chaos leaving riders spread out 4-5 men accross Thankfully Wee hills such as the Cameron Hill splits the Slower guys/Gringos from the rest of the pack which made it That more Safer. Intends to be Super Fast this weekend
  11. Aye Right Kenny Just wait for it folks the old shout 'Turn left' then its a Wall of concrete you need to climb... Remember the time the bunch rolled towards Renton and you shouted NEXT LEFT!!!! suddenly we was infront of a climb so steep that the Great man himself Jim Brogan shouted 'Fu@k THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' turned about and went another direction Funniest thing i have ever heard to this day and i think it was Sean who rode back down to see if he was ok as most of us thought he was kidding us on but he wasnt A few months after that myself ian Manson and Jim drive out to Comrie for a TLI Race, en route to Comrie Jim just kept saying ' dearie me check out the mountains man they are everywhere.....Jimmy rae told me it was like b illiard table , Wait till i see him'........Another 10 miles go by and the same terain Finally we arrive at the strip and jim Marches over to Jimmy ; OI you , ye told me it was like billiard table this circuit , cant see anything but Mountains man, everyone is kicking aboot wi mountain bikes Jimmy wits going on??' Wee man could not get a word in Sideways - class patter from the man Turned out the race was quite flat some how and only 1 main drag in it. Final words in the car on way back ' christ lads ive got an @rse like a urangutang and legs like Schwarzzenegger
  12. Cheers, Ian Good man gave me a set of rollers a while back with front fork Brackets. Superb bit of kit that you can gee it laldie without the worry of falling off. Then again a true SKillfull rider should be able to ride like that with both wheels
