  1. About an hour later I felt better so went out and headed for Largs in the hope of meeting the bunch at the TOP of the Haylie but of course it had to be the bottom when we met lol Thought the spelling through into the wind on the way back was some of the best disciplined riding I've ever witnessed. Also Cheers for the pint in Amaretto Alan, that's one I owe you

  2. That's what club cycling is all about guys, no need to burn all your matches on the front and end up spat out the back. Great wee chain gang and the dash for the 30 was magic to watch (just wish i could have competed)

  4. Hi I need help cleaning up our membership records. Most of the recent ex-members will receive a group email but I am posting here because I know some contact details are outdated. 1. If you have renewed membership and paid subs, great! Thank you! 2. If you have not renewed but would like to do so (before your forum access is cut off) then go here https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/club/subscriptions?club_id=589. PM me if any problems and we can arrange BACS/cheque/cash etc 3. If you have previously been a member and are still interested in the club and general riding/social but can't rejoin this year due to geography/work/circumstances then please PM/email me and I'll keep you on our books as a possible future member. 4. If you can't see yourself returning at all to the Wheelers then please PM/email me and I'll remove you completely from our records. Thanks very much Alan Membership Secy JWCC [email protected]

  7. Was tight on time today so did my own 2 hr ride. Bumped into main bunch on my way back just before old Largs road. Looked like a good size group with a nice mix of riders!

  8. I'm up for this, as long as the weather is decent. If it's a REALLY nice day, I'd like to suggest Three Ferries. Cycle to Rothesay for 8am ferry, go round Bute, over to Colintraive, then Loch Tarsan to Dunoon. Ferry back to Gourock and home via West Ferry or the Clune... circa 100 miles.

    The Joansin do Flanders

What a weekend with the Joansin family. Could not have asked for better company, weather, digs, food or cycling. Looking forward to reliving it all when Chung gives us his full account of the weekend and others sharing their pics and stories. Thanks to all for making it such a memorable event. Same time next year, I hope. PS yes I'm biaised, but Jets were the best drilled bunch in Flanders.
