  1. I thought there was a thread on 2018 goals and was wanting to look at it and see how everyone got on - however couldn't find it. So time to make one for 2019....what are your goals for next season? Doesn't need to be race goals just general cycling goals. Here is the topic from 2016. Some not achieved yet but quite a few ticked off. Its good to see some of you managed to achieve the Bealach na Ba and NC500 goals with Alex. https://www.johnstone-wheelers.co.uk/thebunch/index.php?/topic/8848-new-season-goals/

    2019 cycling goals

Here is my £3.14 worth on this. 1.Eat less pies and learn to climb hills. 2.Get stronger and learn to go fast. 3.Sub 16 minutes on the Georgetown. 4.Low 23 minutes on the Westferry. Do not expect me to be too serious about this though, as I will probably just be mucking about and having fun with the club as usual.

  6. I know a new Café Stop for that route.... the Green Kettle, just up from the roundabout at top of Garelochead, would mean doing the whole Peninsula loop first, but its only an extra 8 miles before the stop... last time I was in I had the best homemade soup ever....
