  2. Guys, managed to get the car hire booking changed....we have ditched the 9 seater Minibus and now have 2 x medium sized 5 seater cars.. the overall cost has only risen marginally, but now we have an extra person, so if Iain Couttie and Michael can just pay the same as the rest of us £34, it will leave an excess of £20, which I will stick into the kitty once we get there Billy will be driving the other car..... 3. Sounds a great route, I'll aim to join you. Assuming I can stop coughing when the grade goes above 1% that is.

  4. Well the easy start must have worked for Jan who took honours tonight, chapeau that man. I had a great view, Jan went for it, Gregg and Cedric hesitated then went full gas. But too late.

  7. There were signs out this morning for a full road closure between Craighat and Croftamie over the weekend: https://www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/notices/stirling/traffic/00000183189 You'll be able to get round it by nipping onto the A811 near Croftamie.

  9. I hope to make this but will be cutting it fine for time. If Thomson still not got a partner happy to follow his wheels till the photo shoot opportunity at the finish. Also happy to timekeep if none of the usual tt boys have volunteered

Brilliant day at track today seeing the superstars. Capped off when Matthijs BÜCHLI of the Netherlands, just 1 hour after winning gold in the kilo, asked for a selfie with me and Laura

  11. Great day for time trialling. Not a lot of wind, warm, without being hot. Clocked a 62:54, which is a season's best, still over a minute outside my pb, but happy enough, given the level of training I've been doing. Only downside was one of my elbow pads fell off 20 minutes before the start, and then my Garmin died, so I had to do the run with no telemetry. Given the way my legs are feeling now, I'll take it as an improved performance level.

  12. Not for me. I'm off to Derbyshire for a weekend of heavy metal mayhem. There may be beer involved.
