Had hoped to get along to this one. Even assured Charlie that I would. A stick has been inserted into the spokes of my plans alas. Now on taxi duties for a lunchtime pick up from airport. Now having studied the route I'm kind of glad. Not been near a hill of note in months. Enjoy guys.2 points

Unfortunately I fly out to Portugal on Thursday morning and will not be able to attend the funeral. Devastated that I won't be in attendance but please pass on my condolences to Anne and family. Only me and Jan today and only another three riders. Weather was not too bad once you get going. With a small tidy bunch it was a good workout and we managed to maintain quite a good pace with an avg. of 24.5mph1 point
