Change of Venue for Dance

Wheelers General News

The club presentation will now take place at the Johnstone Bowling Club, the same venue as last year. Address details below.

This means we now have access to a full bar - no byob please - but all other arrangements are as before.

Catering is looking good too: Chris Balden has worked up a fantastic looking menu for us (secret just now) which means plenty of energy for the jigging.

Apologies for the late post, but we were just trying to finalise numbers before making this change. I'll try to make contact with each person who has booked tickets to make sure no-one turns up at the wrong venue, but please pass the word around.

See you Saturday at 7:00pm sharp:

Don Smith 2010 - Thanks to All

Wheelers General News

A huge Thank You to all riders and supporters for making this year's Don Smith another success.

We raised a total of £588.18 to be presented to the Accord Hospice in Paisley (www.accordhospice.org.uk). The Hospice provides an invaluable service, as many of you will know. Indeed our clubmate Iain Lang was cared for there latterly.

Special mention to all at Scotlind Gym in Lochwinnoch for looking after us before and after the ride, Ian Dooley for bringing his shop to us for the day, Kenny Steele for all the web support, and to Jann and Ian for sign on duties.

Thanks though, to all 87 riders for supporting the event once again.

See you next year!
