After the trauma of Lochlibo Road, it's back to the relative comfort of a 10 on the Westferry. 7:15 meet for 7:30 off. It's only 10 miles, so it'll seem easy after a couple of 25's. Usual volunteers and riders required.

This is the final event in the league of 10, so a good turn out is needed to challenge the leaders.

I'd appreciate a ride in this one if there's a willing timekeeper. Only thing is, the Renfrew ferry's out of action, so I'm no' sure how I'd get to the Westferry without ruining the bike and my legs. I'll have a think about alternative routes and keep an eye on the thread.

Some excellent times on a warm, sunny evening.

Gerrard 23:15, PB, paid

James, 23:18, PB, paid

Billy, 22:06, PB

Richard, 20:47, PB

James is actually owed £2 as I didn't have change, and Richard will be transferring the money to the club account.

Well done all on a clean sweep of PBS.

I'll post the results up tomorrow night.

There can't be many guys not called Graeme Obree who have gone faster in a 10 on a fixed gear in Scotland!

I can think of a few!  ;)

Cheers to McGinty and Alan T. Much appreciated.

Great efforts all round from the gents on bikes. Nice to see everyone taking advantage of a good night.

I found two quid in my rucksack for James. He's all squared up. Gerard paid twice, so I'm going to transfer 12 quid to the club account, which includes my dues. I think that's right - I hope that's right!
