Anyone have recommendation for a decent set of bib shorts?  Don't want to spend a fortune, but willing to pay for good quality/comfort.

I need ones that are good for longer legs and also interested in recommendations for Mrs M as well.

Cheers,

R

Hi Ramsay,

the only ones I've bought recently are the club ones which are pretty decent, but not brilliant, and some cheaper Altura ones for my commute which are fit for purpose, but not great for long rides.. I also have a pair of Gore ones which are very light and very comfy, but also very short on the leg compared to the others.. these Endura ones get pretty good write ups for a reasonable price  http://www.chainreac...16/rp-prod71001

cheers

ian

Ian,

Thanks.  Was actually just looking at these Endura shorts, as they have an option for extra length.

Cheers,

R

Endura FS260 pro ladies shorts are good. Not sure if they make them in bibs too.

I got some pearl izumi ones for commuting and turboing. They're pretty comfortable for me, but then I've got short fat legs.

I only struggle on the uphill bits. And the flat bits. I'm not good into a headwind either. And downhills are scary. Other than that, I'm fine.

I second Jann, I bought a couple of pairs of Endura FS260 Pro recently, it's a very individual thing.

See you on the road sometime soon

Thanks all.

Will have a look at the Enduras. They certainly get a good write up.

You might want to look at DHB pro range. Not quite Assos standard but pretty good nonetheless.

Buy a pair for less than a tenner online. Take a nice long ride. Replace shorts with anything anyone has recommended. Enjoy.

Endurance fs260 pro sl Ramsay. I have the extra long leg and you can choose pad width. My only gripe is the writing has started to peel. Other than that well worth the money.
