Just me and Alan McB took the start line for the Wheelers in this one. Started off fast with a few early on attacks none of which came to much. The drag out of Kilmaurs was not too bad with a following wind with the corner causing the usual splutter of riders sprinting at the bottom but easily manageable from my point of view anyway. Sat in most of the way round as was conscious of a few bits of daft manouvering at the front of the bunch which Alan was referring to at the end. Would have done better in the final sprint for the line but had to swerve a bit to avoid a rider on the deck (think it might have been Adrian Dow). All in all reasonably happy just need to improve my big gear power and have a bit more nerve in the run ins

Well done. Id came down in the car to see my dad off and saw you both too, watched a couple of laps at the startline.

Looks a fast race doesnt look the hilliest, heard there was a crash or 2 at the end but had to leave early so never saw the finish.

Got there close to start time so didnt get a chance to say hello

With the amount of rider's on the deck on the final run it was near impossible to stay on the left side of the road. Craziness. I think I know where the disqualification would of been. The road b4 the final Bend was mental with both sides of the road taken up with cyclist, lucky nothing came the other way.
