2023 Subscriptions AlanT Posted August 1, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 1, 2015 Not if the forecast is accurate. I'm looking at torrential rain and high winds. Again. Is there a reset button for Summer?

2023 Subscriptions GrahamF Posted August 4, 2015 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 4, 2015 Looks like the weather is due to improve a little this evening in time for this event, still wet and windy - but less so! Can we have a show of hands of those hardy souls who are up for the challenge?
2023 Subscriptions AlanT Posted August 4, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 4, 2015 Not for me thanks. Really not up for it tonight
Members Richard
Graham, I'm ready to ride over. It's very windy outside, though. Between the big gear on the bike and the deep-section rims, there's a possibility I might have to turn back. I'm desperate to ride a ten with an actual timekeeper waiting at the finish, but I feel a bit rubbish about dragging you out of the house for only one or two riders. al yuille
Nice ride Richard. Must be those Aussie wheels Chung told me about !
Members Richard
The Aussie import looked the part but it made the wheel so heavy I actually went slower with it on. I gave up on it after a week and ordered 56mm carbon rims from China (further damaging the UK's balance of trade.)
2023 Subscriptions George Posted August 8, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 Richard, I have a nice TT bike that I'm punting at end of season. Would fit you lovely. Nice Zipp deep section wheels on it-(probably made in China too)
