The first five running on Tuesday evenings up to the end of April, with the second five across June. For those unfamiliar with what the Chocolate Series is about, here is a link to an explanation: The Story of the Chocolate Trophy The route is from the Inchinnan end of Georgetown Road, arround the large roudabout at Houston and back to the start, about 7 miles. Here is a link to the course: JWCC Georgetown Road TT Route Riders with a time for 10 miles of less than 26 minutes don't qualify for the Chocolate Trophy, but there is a new trophy for sub 26 minute riders, so there is something for everyone to compete for! First rider off at 18:30, so meet at 18:15.I will help officiate this week, but another volunteer also needed for timekeeping / pushing off. Alex Baird, Ian Portious, Iain Mctavish, Christopher Patterson, and anyone else, no need for the fancy bike just clip on bars and you will love this. So if you are planning to battle the wind and rain, please post confirmation or I may not be there! We are still short of a second volunteer to push off, perhaps a chance for a new member to get involved and see what goes on before participating another time.
