Administrators Jannza Posted August 27, 2014 Administrators Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 Anyone got an 18 or 19 track cog I could borrow to try? Or one they don't need 😃
Members Richard
Is this actually for the track, Jann? I've got a 3/32" 18-tooth sprocket somewhere for use on the road, but for 1/8" track chains I think you'll struggle to find a quality sprocket that has more than 16 teeth. Members Richard
Token do 17 and 18-tooth sprockets. 14 quid if you shop around.
Administrators Jannza Posted August 27, 2014 Author Administrators Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 It's for the road, I decided going above the signs on the track was too scary! According to bike spec it should be a KMC Z510HX chain which looks to be a 1/8.
Members Richard
Ah, OK. I can give you a loan of a used 3/32" 18-tooth sprocket if you like. I don't like mixing widths myself, but it'll work with your 1/8" chain and it'll let you see if you like the gear without shelling out. Committee Alan McLean Posted September 1, 2014 Committee Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 Hi Jann, I have just found an 18 track cog. Do you still need one? I could leave it in the porch. Alan Jannza
Administrators Jannza Posted September 1, 2014 Author Administrators Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 Yes, if I could borrow to try it. I could pick it up on Wed.
