Thought we would do it again!! Last year we proposed a cycle for the Jets (and accompanying parents!) and proved to be a good outing. This year the weather is looking favourable for the 29th December 2013 and plan was to meet at 12 Taylor Avenue in Kilbarchan and embark on a trip along the cycle track to Lochwinnoch, those wishing to stretch their legs could go onto Kilbirnie and the fitter and more energetic could head for the Barrhill circuit. All returning to Kilbarchan for soup and cake! if interested let me know (RSVP) etc. Regards Tony

Hi Greig, Technically the road between Stewarton and Newton Mearns is closed for re surfacing works. They have been working during the week and scaryfied the road from the Aryshire boundary towards Newton Mearns in sections!! They have laid base tar to some areas (really smooth!!) but this still leaves a 2 inch step at junctions with existing road surfaces. Will be passable as cars using it. Thought you should know. Tony

Any Jets (and parents) interested in a New Years day ride? Proposing to leave Kilbarchan about 12ish, head for Lochwinnoch on cycle track and then over the road to Kilmacolm and back to Kilbarchan on cycle track.
