Confined-to-Club Calendar
The Club issues an annual calendar of its events and activities. There are lots of opportunities to get involved, whether you are new to the sport or an old hand. In particular new Members are always welcome – come to the Clubrooms (directions below) on any Friday night (19.30 onwards) or phone Harry Lambie (0141-889.7563) or turn up at any Confined-to-Club event (rules are relaxed for new Members).
Committee meetings are usually on the last Friday of every month, at 7.30pm in the Clubrooms.
The Club runs are designed for everybody, and so do not be put off by your lack of fitness or the feeling that you won't know anyone. The bunch usually splits into smaller groups to suit ability.
Directions to the meeting points
Clubrooms are on Miller Street, Johnstone. From the town centre, go up the Thorn Brae towards Elderslie until you come to John Lang Street; turn left into this and follow it until you come to Miller Street on the left. The Clubrooms are at the end of Miller Street, across from the football pitches.
Glengarnock / Lochside industrial estate is on the road between Beith and Kilbirnie – also at the end of the cycle track from Lochwinnoch to Kilbirnie.
The “Georgetown” is the eastern end of the road from Houston to the Inchinnan industrial estate, just next to the air traffic control offices and Brown Egg Farm.
The “Westferry” is the roundabout at the junction of the A8 and the M8 about 1 mile East of Langbank and 2 miles West of Bishopton.
Gateside is 2 miles East of Beith, and the circuit used for the APRs is another mile East towards Lugton.
